I am a second year MSc student at Cardiff University originally from Hawaii.
In my first year I had the opportunity to work on a Roman black-burnished ware jar, as well as various metal finds and excavated painted glass. Over the summer of 2024 I took part in an archaeological excavation in Trelai Park, Cardiff, assisting in on-site conservation and the excavation of particularly fragile objects. I also did a placement at Bolton Museum, where I worked on plaster models, copper alloys, and low-fired ceramics.
I received my BA (Hons) in Medieval Studies in 2023 from Swansea University. I’m particularly interested in ceramics and stained glass.
