The ICON Stained Glass Group is pleased to announce its Annual General Meeting and Autumn Conference, scheduled for October 25, 2024, at the University of Chester.
This year's theme, "Beyond the Whall," will examine the technical and art historical oeuvre of Christopher Whall's pupils and subsequent twentieth-century stained glass. The conference will address the innovative techniques, challenges, and solutions associated with the conservation of some of this unique and artistically significant era of stained glass design.
After the success of last year, we plan to arrange a stained glass quiz evening to encourage social engagement and a bit of fun alongside a Walking tour. More information to follow.
