Collections Conservation Dynamic Purchasing System: Market Engagement Event

This month, Parliament and the Restoration and Renewal (R&R) Delivery Authority will invite skilled heritage professionals to apply to work on the care and conservation of Parliament’s unique heritage collections.

Parliament and the Delivery Authority are holding an online market engagement event on Wednesday 20th November to guide conservators through the new Collections Conservation Dynamic Purchasing System (CCDPS), to ensure they are fully equipped to bid for opportunities.

To join the online event, register here

A recording and transcript of the event will be uploaded to the webpage shortly after, for those unable to join the live session.

Over the next four years Parliament and the R&R Delivery Authority plan to offer contracts worth up to an estimated £4million in value to carry out day to day and R&R programme-based conservation work across the Palace of Westminster and the wider Parliamentary estate.

Parliament and the R&R Delivery Authority’s Collections Conservation Dynamic Purchasing System (CCDPS) will make bidding to work with the parliamentary heritage collections more accessible for conservators. Once on the CCDPS system, you will be eligible to bid for work with both Parliament and the R&R Delivery Authority.

There will be conservation contracts to support the care of items including easel paintings, works on paper, horology, wall paintings, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, furniture and upholstery, and leather, amongst others. A full list of contract categories can be found on their websites.
