Free drop-in for Icon members
This Lunch & Learn session will comprise around 20 minutes of presentation / information sharing, followed by an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your own fundraising plans and share your stories of challenges and successes.
Emma has been CEO at Icon since 2023 and leads the team in championing conservation and engaging wider audiences with heritage through the unique perspectives conservation provides. Icon’s membership represents diverse conservation specialisms with expertise from across the UK and internationally. Originally from a fine art background, Emma has previously led on income generation for Historic England, the Jewish Museum London, The Postal Museum, and was the first ever CEO at Didcot Railway Centre.
Chief Executive, Institute of Conservation
Emma is Icon’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the development and delivery of Icon’s strategic ambitions. She manages the staff team and works closely with the Board of Trustees, Board Committees, and volunteers drawn from the membership.
Emma is an experienced heritage sector leader and fundraising professional and joined Icon from Historic England where she was Head of Partnerships & Development. Emma has a track record of successful delivery in previous roles as Chief Executive of Didcot Railway Centre, Director of Development at the Jewish Museum London, and Head of Fundraising for The Postal Museum.
