Clothworkers Foundation Grants

To cover conference registration for #Icon19


The Clothworkers Foundation have generously awarded £25,000 to Icon to cover registration for #Icon19 delegates who are Accredited, Associate or Student Icon members. 

This grant is especially aimed at those Icon members whose financial circumstances would otherwise prevent them from attending, and covers core registration costs. Please note optional extras such as the Formal Triennial Dinner and certain tours are not included.

Plowden/ Clothworkers’ Foundation CPD Grants

Continuous Professional Development Grants to attend #Icon19 are being offered through the Anna Plowden Trust in partnership with the Clothworkers’ Foundation.

The Plowden/ Clothworkers’ Foundation CPD Grants can be awarded for up to £1,000 or 50% (whichever is the smaller amount) of the cost of the conference or training. 

Please note that students and interns are not eligible to apply for a CPD grant.

Icon Tru Vue Grants Programme


Icon has been partnering with Tru Vue since 2015 to provide CPD Grants for mid-career conservators. These grants could naturally be used to attend #Icon19!
