The practical hands-on course focuses on the techniques and strategies that may need to be applied in dealing with water damage to collections in libraries and archives. The course will convey methods that can be deployed in dealing with both minor and major water damage incidents that impact on books, documents and other holdings, and using case studies and worked examples, help participants to quantify their capacity and capability to deal with incidents themselves.
