The Scotland Group are delighted to offer this opportunity to join Conservators from National Galleries Scotland at the Granton Art Centre for a tour of their stores and to hear about the Arts Works project and future storage plans.
As this session is aimed at students, emerging professionals and early career conservators there will be opportunities to find out about how staff got into their professional field and what their current job entails.
With the opportunity for some informal networking, discussions about beginning a career pathway and issues affecting emerging professionals, the afternoon will continue with a tour of the National Museum of Scotland collection stores.
Refreshments will be available on arrival before the first tours at NGS, and there will be a break for lunch and networking; note lunch will not be provided so please bring your own, there are foodstores next door.
