Enter now for the Museums + Heritage Awards!

Nominations and entries for the annual Museums + Heritage Awards are now open.

This year, a range of new categories have been introduced focusing on the unique challenges of the Coronavirus pandemic. The six new categories, including a Covid Pivot Award and Covid Special Recognition Award, are free to enter.

The Awards continue to celebrate excellence in conservation, recognising how the care of collections and objects has been as important as it ever was throughout the pandemic.

The Restoration or Conservation Project of the Year award will highlight the quality of work undertaken on restoration and conservation projects within the UK. Judges will look at

  • how a project has been managed and implemented from conception to completion
  • whether they demonstrate rigorous project and conservation planning and processes
  • how the project increases public access whilst ensuring important historical artefacts and buildings have been protected for the future

The closing date for entries and nominations for this year's Museums + Heritage Awards is 31 March. Find out more about the categories and online process for entering.
