Icon Book & Paper Group Committee Elections - Call for Nominations

The Icon Book & Paper Group is holding its Committee elections. This is your chance to nominate yourself for a position on the Committee. There are a wide range of roles available, suiting a variety of talents and personalities. There is something for everyone!


What does the Committee do?

The Committee leads and organises the work of the Book & Paper Group within Icon. This includes organising events and training activities, as well as advocacy for book and paper conservation within Icon and beyond.

The Committee meets approximately four times per year. Some work from home is

required, with the amount depending on the time of year and projects in progress. In addition, the Chair is required to attend the regular Icon Group Chairs’ meetings. Travel expenses for Committee meetings are refundable.

The following roles are available:

  • Fundraising Officer
  • Special Projects Officer (2 vacancies)
  • Sub-editor
  • Treasurer
