Icon CEO Featured on British Council's 'China Now' Site

A blog written by Icon CEO, Alison Richmond ACR, has been featured on the British Council's new China Now site

The British Council's new China Now site has only just been launched and Alison's piece features prominently on the front page. China Now is a new initiative for UK professionals in arts and creative economy industries to feed back work in China more strategically and provide them insights on the market in a hope to facilitate more exchanges and partnerships. In China, the British Council arts team operates from offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Wuhan.

The article, which first appeared in Icon News 70, details Alison's experiences of her tour of China, which was funded by the UK Government’s Prosperity Fund and organized by the British Council. Alison was part of a small party of UK heritage professionals taking part in the 'High Level Cultural Exchange Tour', which helped encourage mutual understanding between UK-based organizations and China and also established contact with key personnel in Peking University and heritage organisations in Xi’an.
