Icon mentor training, October 2016

Icon will be holding our next round of mentor training for Accredited Members on 25th October 2016 in Manchester

Icon mentors provide vital support to conservators throughout their careers, from helping people on their path towards becoming Accredited through to ongoing Continuing Professional Development support. We currently have more than 450 people on the PACR Pathway currently working towards accreditation who are supported by 79 extremely dedicated and committed mentors.

Mentors can take on as many or as few mentees as they feel they are able to, and support people in a range of ways, from being a critical friend when reading their PACR Application to being a sounding board for CPD planning.

To be an Icon mentor you must attend the one-day training session, where we run through the full mentoring process and seek to equip you with the skills and the tools to become mentors.

The next round of mentor training is kindly being hosted at Manchester Central Library and is due to take place on 25th October 2016.

If you are an ACR and are interested in attending the mentor training please email our Training & Development Manager, Patrick Whife on for further details.
