The Museums + Heritage Awards are open for nominations!

The 18th Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence celebrate best practice across the world of museums, galleries, cultural and heritage visitor attractions, attracting hundreds of entries which battle it out to win one of 13 prestigious awards.

The Awards shine a spotlight on the diversity of this sector, of museums large and small – from the nationals to one-room volunteer-run museums, from iconic buildings and monuments to the great outdoors, all of whom have an equal opportunity.

Within the total 13 categories, there is a dedicated Restoration or Conservation Project of the Year Icon members can apply to! This award will highlight the quality of work undertaken on restoration and conservation projects within the UK. Judges will look at how a project has been managed and implemented from conception to completion. Your entry must clearly demonstrate rigorous project and conservation planning and processes. The category is open to the restoration and conservation of single objects through to entire buildings. Particular attention will be given to how the project has enhanced public access whilst ensuring important historical artefacts and buildings have been safe guarded for the future.
