Tru Vue® Conservation & Exhibition Grant Scheme Launched

truvue_logo_4c_0.jpgWe know that as museums and galleries emerge from the Coronavirus lockdown, they will need to make changes to the way that their collections are cared for and presented to visitors. This is why we are we are delighted to announce that Icon has partnered with Tru Vue ® to deliver the ‘Tru Vue ® Conservation & Exhibition Grant Scheme’.

The scheme will support small heritage institutions in the UK access one of five £2,000 grants to support conservation and care of collections teams to deliver projects that will address these challenges through this new targeted grant scheme.

We are looking for projects that will:

Protect an object or objects already on display in order to reduce physical contact by members of the public


Enable an object that is not currently on display to be presented to visitors in a safe way

The grant scheme has two components:

  • In-kind donation of Tru Vue® Optium Museum Acrylic® or UltraVue® Laminated Glass for use directly related to the conservation and display of the project.
  • Funding to cover the materials, supplies and/or support needed to deliver the project.

The deadline for application is 21st August 2020 at 5pm.
