Call for Papers: Pathway Event 2021

Now in its ninth year, the Pathway Event is focused on supporting Icon Pathway Members on their journey towards becoming Accredited members of Icon.  

Building on the success of the previous years - last year reaching out to more than 100 Pathway members - the 2021 event will take place on 22nd and 23rd June 2021. The event will focus on the theme of resilience and the huge effort across the sector to adapt their practice whilst maintaining high professional standards during a time that has reshaped our lives. 

Submissions are being invited to deliver 20-minute presentations on all aspects relevant to the theme. There is not a limit to what can be covered through the event, however possible ideas include:

• Using technology to be able to continue to operate in a challenging situation. 
• Maintaining your underpinning skills in challenging times.
• Promoting environmental sustainability
• How you've been able to keep all of the plates spinning.

The deadline is 11th April 2021

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Icon Professional Development Team. Selection of papers are based on originality, relevance to topic and current issues, methodology and clarity of expression. Selected papers will be confirmed by 30th April 2021.
