The entry process is all online and the closing date is 1 February 2022
The Museums + Heritage Awards are open to all museums, galleries, archives and heritage visitor attractions, organisations, charities and bodies plus their suppliers, contractors and partners. You can see the 2022 categories here.
The Museum + Heritage Awards continue to celebrate excellence in conservation, recognising how the care of collections and objects has been as important as it ever was throughout the pandemic.
The Restoration or Conservation Project of the Year award will highlight the quality of work undertaken on restoration, repair and conservation projects within the UK.
Judges will look at how a project has been managed and implemented from conception to completion. Your entry must clearly demonstrate rigorous project and conservation planning and processes. The category is open to the restoration and conservation of single objects through to entire buildings. Particular attention will be given to how the project has enhanced public access whilst ensuring important historical objects and buildings have been safe guarded for the future.
The closing date for entries and nominations for this year's Museums + Heritage Awards is 1 February. Find out more about the categories and online process for entering.
After two years of virtual ceremonies, the 2022 Museums + Heritage Awards will take place in person with live ceremony on the evening of 11th May 2022.
