Culture Perth and Kinross are recruiting for a Conservation Intern. This position is funded by the Pilgrim Trust and supported by Icon - The Institute of Conservation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with the nationally significant art collection in Perth and who wants to undertake further studies or begin a career in conservation or a future role in art galleries and museums.
The Role
The intern will be based at Perth Art Gallery and at the Kelvin Centre for Conservation and Cultural Heritage Research at the University of Glasgow for 3 months, working alongside the Culture Perth & Kinross Conservation Officer and specialists in technical imaging and fine art conservation from the University of Glasgow.
A tax-free bursary of £4,875 is available, which includes the cost of travel between Perth and Glasgow.
