Formed in 2001 Devlin Plummer Stained Glass works all over the UK and into Europe. We work predominantly on Churches and Cathedrals but also on many historic listed secular buildings.
The Role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Stained Glass Conservator at Devlin Plummer Stained Glass Ltd, located in the Greater Norwich Area, United Kingdom. The Stained Glass Conservator will be responsible for assisting in the conservation and restoration of stained glass windows. The role may involve tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and documenting the condition of stained glass windows.
Skills and experience
- A strong interest in art conservation and the preservation of cultural heritage
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Knowledge of stained glass techniques and materials is a plus
- Previous experience or training in art conservation is desirable
- Flexibility and adaptation to different working environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
