Museums Freelance and South West Museum Development have worked in partnership to write a series of four guidance documents to help museum staff work well with freelancers. The suite includes:
- A set of principles for commissioning and working with freelancers
- How to write an effective freelance brief
- How to commission freelancers in a fair, inclusive and transparent way
- Contracts, work plans and working effectively with freelancers
