I am about to begin my second year at Cardiff University studying MSc Conservation Practice. In my first year, I have worked on an ancient whistle from The Egypt Centre in Swansea, and archaeological iron excavated from Ferrycarrig, Wexford by the Irish Archaeology Field School. Between first and second year, I have completed a placement at Cardiff University, working on Roman coins and repackaging archaeological glass, in addition to experience with air abrasion. I have also recently completed a course with the Irish Archaeology Field School in Wexford, working on a live archaeological dig.
My background is in the creative arts, and I graduated from Cambridge University with my undergraduate degree in History of Art in 2017, before transferring to conservation for my Master’s last year. I am interested in the conservation of archaeological metal, ancient and ethnographic objects, and also have an interest in Medieval and early modern history.

I am currently in my second semester of Conservation of Cultural Heritage Masters within the University of Lincoln.

I am currently studying MA Conservation of Archaeological and Museum Objects at Durham University and will be completing my second year placement at Lancashire Conservation Studios. My main interests currently lie within decorative arts and social history collections, in particular ceramics and glass collections and ethnographic objects. As part of the Icon EPN committee I am keen to promote the work of emerging conservation professionals, encouraging accessibility, engagement and public outreach within conservation.

I am a second year MSc student at Cardiff University originally from Hawaii.

In my first year I had the opportunity to work on a Roman black-burnished ware jar, as well as various metal finds and excavated painted glass. Over the summer of 2024 I took part in an archaeological excavation in Trelai Park, Cardiff, assisting in on-site conservation and the excavation of particularly fragile objects. I also did a placement at Bolton Museum, where I worked on plaster models, copper alloys, and low-fired ceramics.

I received my BA (Hons) in Medieval Studies in 2023 from Swansea University. I’m particularly interested in ceramics and stained glass.

Hi there, I'm Cody from Brisbane, Australia. I'm an Emerging Paper Conservator with a professional background in multispectral imaging, photography and Forensic Document Examination. Due to be conferred with a Master of Cultural Materials Conservation (University of Melbourne) in December 2022, I'm excited to transfer my unique skillset to the field of Conservation with a specialisation in paper. I posses work rights in both the UK and the EU.

I am about to begin my second year at Cardiff University studying MSc Conservation Practice. In my first year, I worked on a set of Coalport porcelain plates from the Regimental Museum of the Royal Welsh as well as a flood damaged book from Pontypridd Museum.

With the intention to become an accredited conservator, I am currently looking for positions to widen my knowledge on conservation practices and provide practical experience in the heritage sector. I have recently completed my MA in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Lincoln and have a strong interest in furniture and decorative art objects, although am keen to expand my knowledge in as many disciplines as possible.

My academic and personal experience will be of benefit to those I join, as I can offer someone who takes a conscientious and methodical approach to all work. My manual dexterity and ability to make analytical decisions is also strong as evidenced by my consistent high grades.
